Our Leadership

Thomas Emmons is a technology executive with over a decade of experience advising and leading large IT organizations through periods of internal transition, acquisition, and divestiture. He most recently served as CIO and Senior Managing Director at Ankura, where he led the company’s technology strategy and implementation efforts for two years.

Prior to his time at Ankura, Thomas held a variety of executive-level positions at leading technology firms, including Chief Information Officer at Verience Healthcare, a software division carve-out from GE Healthcare Digital, and Chief Information Officer at SunEdison, Inc. At SunEdison, he led a successful initiative to consolidate applications and reduce annual IT spending by over $25 million. He also oversaw the divestiture of over $1 billion in total assets, working closely with buyer companies as they transitioned off SunEdison’s IT support and established their own.

Thomas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Berry College and is a member of the Orange County Bar Association. He is a seasoned technology executive and entrepreneur who has a deep understanding of the digital landscape and the challenges facing businesses today.
